Apply Sulphur Veg to your vegetable garden to stop fungal diseases and ensure healthy, disease resistant vegetables. Sulphur is a key element in plant growth – it is critical for healthy disease resistant vegetables PLUS it is essential in the production of vitamins, amino acids and enzymes, so spray your vegetables with sulphur during the growing season to encourage healty vegetables.

Vegetable plants are susceptible to fungal diseases, so Sulphur Veg, which contains water soluble sulphur powder is the easy way to apply sulphur to your vegetables to help fight fungal diseases. Simply dissolve in water and apply with a sprayer. A sulphur deficient plant will exhibit yellowing of its upper and lower leaves and may become susceptible to diseases such as powdery mildew, certain rusts and leaf blights. Spray with Sulphur Vegetable at regular intervals i.e. every 3-4 weeks throughout the growing season to ensure healthy growth and to increase resilience against vegetable fungal diseases. Sulphur Veg is supplied as a powder, which is mixed with tepid water (25g in 500ml to cover 25 sqm) and the applied with a sprayer to the top and underside of the leaves as follows :-

  • Apply to carrots, leaks and onions when the crop is 15cm tall. Apply at 2-3 weeks intervals.
  • Apply to peas, beans and brassicas at 4-6 leaves stage. Apply at 2-3 weeks intervals.
  • Apply to potatoes 7 days after 100 percent emergence. Apply at 2-3 weeks intervals.
  • Apply to fruit trees every 2-3 weeks throughout the growing season.
  • Do NOT SPRAY apricots or any member of the cucumberts family (cucumbers, gourds, melons, squashes, and pumpkins).
