Use these replacement cardboard Solitary Nesting Tubes to replace tubes in Solitary Bee Nests or use them to make your own bee nest. Simply replace any damaged or removed tubes (birds especially woodpeckers will remove tubes to feed on the larvae inside) with new tubes as needed. They are also ideal for making your own bee nest – pictured is one I made with an old well know crisp tube. If you are making your own, you do need to enclose the back of the house as bees do not like tubes that are open at both ends. These cardboard nesting tubes measure 150mm length x 10mm and the inside diameter is 8mm, which is ideal for mason and leaf-cutter solitary bees to rest, build nests and lay their eggs in. They come in packs of 20, 50 or 100 tubes. Available NOW.
