Soil Association Approved and suitable for Organic Gardening – Made from 100% BRITISH wool, these Slug Gone Wool Pellets are placed around the top of pots (or around plants in borders) to form an effective mulch that stops slugs and snails in their tracks as well as suppressing weeds and reducing water loss and enriches the soil. The pellets absorb liquid to form a felt-like mat that irritates the slugs foot, so they move away. Available in 2 sizes – buy a 1L bag for topping pots or a 3.5L bag for mulching raised beds / small borders. N.B. 1L bags currently SOLD OUT.

We had some wool pellets last year, and I am pretty sure we got them from you. They enabled us to have the most wonderful display of Echinacea (spelling ?) plants and I was hoping to be able to get some more this year!” Many thanks and best wishes

I’ve been using been using Slug Gone Wool pellets for 5 years now and they are amazing! I am ordering another 2 x 20L bags as my daughter has just helped herself to my last bag as she thinks it is amazing too!

…really good, new barrier in the form of pellets made of recycled sheep’s wool. When spread around my Rudbeckia occidentalis ‘Green Wizard’, which was shredded to bits last summer despite my best efforts, it has formed a dense matted layer that the beasts have not yet breached. It seems to be better than granular barriers, which I find scatter about too easily. I am told that, as a bonus, the wool rots down and feeds the soil.

I have used Nematodes for slugs and vine weevil, both worked as they should. But you can never really get rid of slugs forever and so I have used the Slug Gone Wool pellets last year and this year and they really do the trick. I think Green Gardener are a brilliant company and have so much to offer. Their service is the best in every sense.

I found Green Gardener when I Googled Slug Wool as I’d not been able to buy it locally. My order came very quickly & It had a leaflet with some of the other products they sell. I also discovered that they are based in Suffolk , my home county & very near to where a friend lives. I was also interested to see that lots of the products they sell are environmentally friendly . I proceeded to place another order for various products which again was delivered very promptly. I am really pleased to have found this company & will continue to use them , buying directly as I am very happy both with the products and their efficient service.

I purchased several products as presents for a keen gardener plus slug gone wool pellets and nematodes for myself. Have used these for years and wouldn’t be without them. Delivery was prompt. Very reliable.
