These Hessian Vegetable Sacks are perfect for storing your home grown produce in. Root vegetable including potatoes, onions, parsnips and onions store well in a dark, dry and cool place and hessian sacks are perfect. Made from natural jute fibres, they keep out the light, but allow the vegetables to breath, which keeps your vegetables at their best – plastic sacks retain too much moisture, which means the vegetables can go bad. These Hessian sacks have not been treated and are fully compostable / biodegradable, so they are also great for collecting garden waste in – once they are no longer any use just add them to your compost heap.
