Duckweed can be a big problem in ponds especially as the water temperatures rises – use this natural liquid Duckweed Control to prevent the growth and spread of duckweed. Duckweed Control is chemical-free and is safe for all the fish, aquatic plants and wildlife in and around your pond. Duckweed Control is supplied in EITHER a 500ml bottle for treating ponds up to 4500 litres (1000 gallons) or a 1L bottle for treating ponds up to 9000 litres (2000 gallons).

Duckweed Control contains bacteria, which have been specially selected to remove the nutrients duckweed need to flourish, so that it naturally starved to death before breaking down naturally. Duckweed Control will not harm fish, wildlife or other plant life in the pond – plants take their nutrients from the silt in the bottom of the pond, so they will be unaffected. Manually remove as much duckweed as you can 1st and then add this natural duckweed control to kill whats left and to stop it coming back. Once the duckweed starts to die, it will slowly fall to the bottom of the pond and break down naturally returning nutrients to the pond. Product stores for up to 18 months and it is impossible to overdose. Duckweed Control is supplied in a 500ml bottle, add it as follows :-

• Initial Dose – Using the dosage chamber built into the bottle, measure 25mls for every 450 litres of pond water into a bucket or watering can. Mix with pond water and pour evenly over pond surface.
• Maintenance Dose – Continue to dose 10 mls per 450 litres weekly to help prevent the re-growth of the duckweed i.e. a 500 ml bottle will treat up to 4500 litres of pond water for approx one month.
