Coir Planter Bags are individual grow bags that measure 20cm x 20cm and are perfect for planting up individual tomato, cucumber, pepper, chilli plants etc. They come with a compressed block of coir in the bottom that once expanded will fill the planter with enough compost to allow it to be planted up. These Coir Planter Bags are PEAT FREE, the covering is biodegradable and are ethically produced and sourced. Being peat-free they are better for the environment and your plants. These Coir Planter Bags produce healthy plants, because the coir compost has just the right balance of water and air for healthy root growth.

Coir Planter Bags are made from compressed coir in a compostable covering – simply fill the bag with water and watch the coir swell to make the ideal growing medium (20 x 20 cm in size). Once the coir has fully expanded, stab some holes in the bottom of the bag to allow excess water to drain and to provide drainage on-going. Ideal for planting up with our Coir Grow Cubes / potting up vegetable plants.

• For growing on Coir Grow Cubes – Once your plants are established in the Coir Grow Cubes, simply make a hole in the top of the planter bag, add the Coir Grow Cube and firm it in.
• Potting on vegetable plants – Use these planter bags as individual grow bags. Plant up with tomato, cucumber, aubergine, pepper and chilli plants etc.

N.B. Coir compost is completely neutral, so it is important to feed your plants once you have potted them up into the Planter Bags – our Seaweed Feed is ideal.
