This Biodegradable Weedkiller is the natural way to kill weeds including the roots! It works on annual and perennial weeds including meadow grass, dandelion, clover, deadnettle, common chickweed, chamomile, speedwell, buttercup and creeping thistle. It will work on Horsetails but it will not give on-going control and will need to be reapplied. It is safe for children, pets, wildlife and chickens ONCE IT HAS DRIED. Organic Weed Killer that works!
Vania Batton –
It is easy to see how the question of how long to keep dog off grass after weed killer can be a tricky one. It depends upon many variables including the dog’s health, diet, age and your own tolerance for herbicide.
Jon –
Thanks for the message and this weed killer is safe for animals and humans as soon as it has dried, so you only need to exclude them while you are spraying. Once dry it is safe. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

Is it possible to kill off a large area of grass with this product and not harm the soil prior to planting a flower bed?
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and yes it is safe to use on grass before seed sowing – just wait for the grass to die, dig it over and then plant bed up. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener
Chris –
I am looking for a weed killer which will only kill weeds and not insects and worms etc. Is this what I’m looking for?
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and yes it is. It is based on Pelegronic acid which is an effective weedkiller but does not harm insects , worms etc and once dry it is safe for children and pest to enter the area. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the enquiry and yes it is bee safe. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

Questions – can I paint on this weed killer onto clover and horsetails? Will it change the ph of the soil with repeated use?
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and yes you could paint it on and it would not affect the soil pH.
Sheila Willdig –
I would like to know if this weedkiller kills nettles, they come back year after year, also is it safe for wildlife, I.e. I have a hedgehog that comes in my garden
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and yes it will kill nettles BUT nettles have an extensive root system and will grow from this so you will need to re-treat new growth as it appears until the nettles roots are exhausted and stop coming back. Yes it is safe for wildlife once it is dry. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

Can this be used in an asparagus bed that has begun grassing over?
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and not without killing the asparagus. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener
Jacqui van Bommel –
Will this be OK to use on weeds in concrete block paving? And would it work on brambles?
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for this and it works really well on weeds between blocks. It will work on brambles but they will appear from the roots but each time you apply the bramble will weaken until the roots eventually die as well. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener
Anna –
Does it work in moss? It’s growing between my patio tiles.
Jon (verified owner) –
YOu would be better with a specific Moss Killer like the MossOff Multi Surface Moss Killer – please visit https://www.greengardener.co.uk/product/mossoff-multi-surface-moss-killer/ to find out more.
Adey –
Would it be quite safe to use in the vicinity of my veggie patch? I have pavers (newly cleaned!) around the outside of it. Many thanks
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the question and it will kill what you spray it onto so as long as you avoid the plants on the veggie patch i.e. do not spray on a windy day so the spray spreads then you are safe to treat weeds adjacent. I hope this helps. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

Ordered lawn fertiliser and weed killer a month or so ago. Very happy with the results from both so far. Thanks.

This product is the best grass killer I’ve ever used. You can practically see the grass wither as you watch. My patio and driveway have never looked so good and so easy to use. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Ian Corp –
Hi will this kill thistles and doc leaf and nettles pleasev
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and yes it will, but where weeds grow from their roots you may have to treat the re-emerging weeds a couple of times to weaken them to the point where they stop coming back. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener
Lynn Jervis –
Trying to get rid of pilosella aurantiaca from garden. It has become very invasive in bedding area where I have mature shrubs/trees. It has managed to invade different parts of garden with shrubs. Would the biodegradable weed killer work and is it safe to apply around existing shrubs. Many thanks.
Jon (verified owner) –
Thanks for the message and yes it will work, but just be careful where you apply it as it will kill any green growth it comes into contact with – it is safe to apply around shrubs as it will not affect woody growth. I hope this helps. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

A very good selection of products in general, and one of the few places I can buy Neudorf WeedFree plus weedkiller. Good processing time and delivery of order.
Patrick Tierney (verified owner) –
Purchased weedkiller and sprayer. Sprayer was easy to use and weedkiller worked within a couple of days on a large gravel garden. This weedkiller is very impressive and has the added extra of being environmentally friendly.

We have some very pretty weeds with purple flowers that grow madly along the side of our house and although they look nice they do destroy the pointing on our house so having looked up weed killer that doesn’t harm insects I found the Green Gardener (.co.uk) had one for a reasonable sum, so I ordered it and it arrived very speedily and it works, it sometimes needs spraying again but it has definitely vastly improved the issue! So many thanks Green Gardener for providing an alternative solution!
