Customer Question – Woolly Aphids

Q. “I have an apple tree. My gardener believes it to have Woolly aphids. Are the ladybirds you supply suitable to use outside or do they only work if In a conservatory or greenhouse?” Many thanks for your advice.

A. Thanks for the question and yes this is classic woolly aphids. You are best to use a 2 pronged attack consisting of Sb Invigorator natural spray 1st to kill as many of the aphids as possible and where you can reach use a brush to work it into the wool to break it up as best you can.
