COVID-19 UPDATE
We want to assure you that the welfare of our customers and staff in these difficult times is our priority.
Everyone at Green Gardener is committed to ensuring the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness when fulfilling your orders, we are limiting any unnecessary contact with the public, suppliers, company representatives, meetings are being cancelled and we are taking all necessary steps to follow the guidance given by the Government and the World Health Organisation.
Royal Mail and our courier APC are continuing to operate as normal, so orders are being fulfilled as normal and stock levels are good. Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels. This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water. Both Royal Mail and APC have issued instructions that signatures are no longer required for tracked deliveries and that their delivery personnel will deliver to the doorstep and then step back while the parcel is collected.
Programmes of deliveries i.e. Nemaslug Planned Programmes are being sent as normal, but as the situation evolves we will let you know if any deliveries need to be brought forward or delayed.
We will keep you updated on any changes as the situation develops and we wish you and your families well.
Kind regards
Jon
