Clarity Pro Pond Calculation

Q “Hi, I would appreciate if you could confirm the correct amount and frequency to treat my pond please. Has been badly affected by green water. The pond is approximately 5m by 3.5m but is an irregular kidney shape – picture attached. Over a meter deep in parts and relatively few plants as the old koi x 4 keep digging them out of their pots. I believe it to be approx 12000 litres. No UV. Large Oase Biotech filter and pump. Many thanks.” Lucy Barnett

A. Thanks for the message and to account for the irregular shape I have allowed for 5m x 4m x 2m deep, therefore the dose factor is 40g = Clarity PRO Treatment – An initial treatment of 2 x dose factor i.e. 2 x 40g = 80g, followed by a second dose of 1 x dose factor i.e. 40g 2 weeks later and then 1 x dose factor every month after that. Therefore 1kg of Clarity Pro will last over 12 months. Because it is so green, you can add more i.e. keep adding 80g and do it more often in the beginning if you want to as it is impossible to overdose and it will help to clear the pond quicker.
