2nd application of Leatherjacket Killer?

Q. “Hi, Four weeks ago I treated our lawn with Leatherjacket Nematodes. I was thinking of applying a second dose in next couple of days, to be on the safe side … do you think it would be a good idea?” Paul Whyman

A. Thanks for the question and as a preventive treatment 1 application once a year in the autumn is enough. If you are treating an actual leatherjacket infestation then a 2nd application of Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer before the temperatures drop (it needs a daytime soil temp of 10c) will make sure you get any late developing leatherjackets especially as temperatures are so mild.
