MY WIFE AND I ENJOY EATING IN THE GARDEN WHEN THE WEATHER IS FINE. IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS WE HAVE BEEN BOTHERED BY WASPS, SO HAVE HAD TO COME BACK INDOORS. I PURCHASED THE WASP POT THINKING IT WOULD BE THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES NOT WORK, AND IT HAS NOT DETERRED THE WASPS. IN MY OPINION IT IS COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE AND A WASTE OF MONEY.

Thanks for the message and sorry it has not worked for you as it is normally very effective at deterring foraging wasps. It is possible you have a wasps nest near by and you are in the flight path in which case you will struggle to deter them. Try making sure the wasp pot is up wind so any breeze will blow the odour accross you and repel wasps in your vicinity. Bought a wasp pot to use in the garden. It worked so well, we took it to Crete with us on holiday in September. Really effective in both locations; so much so that we’ll definitely get another one this summer!
