This Liquid Wasp Trap Attractant is used in the FREESTANDING / HANGING Wasp Trap to attract wasps. This liquid attractant contains a bee deterrent to stop bees becoming trapped and can used in this or any other wasp trap. Supplied in bottles of 500ml of liquid attractant – this is enough to fill the trap FREESTANDING / HANGING Wasp Trap 3 times.

This versatile Wasp Trap is based on a tried and trusted bottom entry design, but by simply inverting the cradle the trap sits in and using the strap included, it can be used as either a FREESTANDING / HANGING Wasp Trap. This means it is ideal for popping on your table when you are eating outside to ensure your meal is not ruined by wasps or hang it up to protect fruit trees / childrens play areas. Supplied with a liquid attractant, simply unscrew the top, add the attractant, screw the lid back on and position in the cradle either way up depending on how you are going to use the trap. Whether freestanding or hanging, the wasps are attracted to the liquid, enter the trap through the opening on the bottom and then cannot get out. This trap has been designed to make it as difficult as possible for the wasps to escape, which makes it very effective :-

• The entry hole is only 18mm, which is much narrower than the normal 25-30 mm typically used by other traps.
• The funnel is much taller (7cm tall) and has very steep sides, which makes it very difficult for the wasps to climb out and makes this trap very effective.

This trap is designed to be re-usable, so each week remove dead wasps, top up the liquid with water / more attractant and then every 3 weeks replace the attractant completely. Trap is designed to hold up to 200ml of attractant and measures 125mm in diameter, 220m high when standing or 500mm when hanging (160mm for the trap and 340mm for the hanger). Each trap is supplied with 500ml of liquid attractant – this is enough to fill the trap 3 times giving up to 9 weeks of trapping. The liquid attractant contains a bee deterrent to stop bees becoming trapped and is available separately for use in this or any other wasp trap.
