They contain our best-selling Codling / Plum Moth Traps with a Refill, Glue Bands, Garlic Wonder Fruit Tree Spray, Winter Wash and a Soda Bottle Sprayer. Use these products to help keep your apple / plum trees free from pests. Delivered in a plain white box ready for wrapping, this giftbox contains EITHER a Codling Moth Trap and Refill OR A Plum Moth Trap and Refill PLUS Glue Bands, Winter Tree Wash, a Garlic Wonder Fruit Tree Spray and a Soda Bottle Sprayer wrapped in a Wool Planting Roll (that can be re-used). • EITHER a Codling Moth Trap and Refill OR A Plum Moth Trap and Refill – Stop codling / plum moths ruining your crops by positioning a pheromone Moth Trap. These simple and easy to use traps contain a pheromone-laced lure, to attract the moths and a sticky trap to catch them. Hang 1 trap per 5 trees between May and the end of July to protect the crop. Each Codling / Plum Moth Trap includes the trap itself, 2 x sticky inserts and 2 x lures, which is enough for 1 season. We also include a refill for the following year.
• Glue Bands – Protect your apple and other fruit trees from winter moth, ants, vine weevil and earwigs with these Economy Glue Bands. Coated in non-toxic, non-drying glue they form an effective barrier against crawling insects. These Economy Glue Bands are supplied in a large 3.5m roll with BIODEGRADABLE string.
• Winter Tree Wash  – One of the best ways of reducing pest numbers in fruit trees is to apply an Organic Winter Tree Wash during the dormant season. Apply to all fruit trees and bushes (top and soft fruit) and to vines under-glass at any time through the winter when the plants are dormant. Suitable for organic growers everywhere. 1L bottle, which makes 10 litres of spray.
• Garlic Wonder Fruit Tree Spray  – Garlic Wonder Organic Plant Spray contains natural garlic juice as a soluble concentrate, which makes it perfect for spraying onto your roses, flowers, fruit tress, shrubs and vegetables – in fact ALL plants. This garlic spray will stimulate growth, encourage a healthy root system, so the plants are much MORE vigorous, produce MORE fruit & are MORE resistant to attack from both insects & fungal diseases such as blackspot, mildew and botrytis.
• Soda Bottle Sprayer – Turn almost any empty soda bottle into a handy sprayer. The Soda Bottle Sprayer is a great and economical way to re-use empty soda bottles turning them into handy sprayers that can be used around the house, in the garden / greenhouse or let the kids use them in the summer. The thread fits almost any plastic soda bottle – add air into the bottle using the pump handle, adjust the nozzle to the spray pattern required and start spraying.
• Wool Planting Roll – Content are wrapped in a Wool Planting Roll – Made from 100% BRITISH sheep’s wool, it can be used as a mulch that will deters slugs and snails BUT it can also be used to suppress weeds, line hanging baskets, as capillary matting and as an insulating blanket to protect pots from cold weather / frost. Birds also love it to make their nests out of it.
